Collections of garden and green waste resume in Middlesbrough later this month.
Residents are being reminded to check their recycling calendars to ensure they put their waste out on the correct day.
The collections get under way again from Tuesday, March 20, but green waste will only be collected in the heavy duty green hessian sacks provided.
The green sacks are supplied free of charge and collected fortnightly from the same location as other refuse.
Collection dates can be found in the Refuse & Recycling collection calendar which is available on this website or residents can call the Environment Contact Centre on 01642 726001 and request a calendar.
Councillor Nicky Walker, Middlesbrough Council’s Executive Member for Streetscene Services, said: “I’d like to thank all those who took part in the garden waste collection scheme last year and I hope it will prove just as popular this year.
“Recycling is very important and we will do all we can to help people recycle as much household and garden waste as possible.”
