Taste of the Wyre
Taste of the Wyre has grown out of the Grow with Wyre Landscape Partnership, which has been working to restore the habitat, eco-diversity, and economic capacity of the Wyre Forest and surrounding land.
This 3 year 3.5 million programme has involved 18 separate projects, including Selling the Wyre. This project has supported local food producers and other rural land-based enterprises in developing their businesses, co-operating with each other, and selling new local routes to market.
Bewdley Development Trust, working with Transition Bewdley (www.transitionbewdley.org) is also promoting the importance of increasing local food sources with a view to a more sustainable future through Bewdley Local Produce Market as well as other initiatives.
