About Bewdley Local Produce Market
Bewdley Local Produce Market takes place on the first Sunday of the month in Load Street, Bewdley. Whilst the main focus is on local food producers, we also wish to support local woodworkers and other locally produced Craft products.
The main aim of Bewdley Local Produce Market is to support the growth of sustainable local food production, by enabling local producers to sell directly to consumers, thereby cutting down on 'food miles', unnecessary packaging, and other environmental costs of modern food retailing.
We also wish to promote high environmental and welfare standards of food production and to enable and encourage consumers to buy good quality, fresh, local seasonal food and drink, both at the market and in local shops. We also wish to support locally produced wood or other craft products.
