Just Because….
Mike recently took early retirement due to ill-health. At his leaving get-together he made a speech which included these words…..
“Don’t ignore your own stress, and don’t ignore other peoples stress”.
The voice of experience – experience hard learnt.
One of his students gave him an orchid as a leaving gift, which is now on our scullery window sill. Looking at it on Saturday morning - with its back-drop of rain on the window - I thought what a lovely thing it is…..
