This site is a record of my guitars, banjos and ukes, past and present.

I would like to keep them all, but space does not permit that, so every so often I have moved a guitar on and bought another.

I dont pretend to be a great player, or even an average player, but I do like guitars, and I have been privileged to own some great ones. Every instrument featured here has been mine, but many have been moved on to other players. 

The best guitars for me have been PRS (Paul Reed Smith). I have owned a USA Anniversary model, and 5 of the Se models, and they take some beating.I just bought the new Mira SE in faded cherry. Then there is the G&L ASAT which is a superb guitar. Various others have been pleasant surprises, and of course there is something about a Fender, and probably a Gibson (I have tried Gibsons but only owned Epiphones, which are great). My Hagstrom Ultra Swede is great.   So many guitars so little time .....

Not to mention banjos ... .

and not to mention my new craze for Ukuleles. I have four already and have upgraded a couple ot higher models.Update: I now have over 4 years playing uke snf I am proud to be a emmebber of The Art of Ukes ensemble.

But my latest squeeze is now in the collection. PRS have recently added the Mira to the SE range and I could not resist ordering one. from guitarguitar Edinburgh. (I was going for a Starla but made last minute change to the Vintage Cherry Mira)
