The documents in the file - foolscap size, poor carbon copy - were scanned and then OCRed, so there are transcription errors; if you find any, please let us know.

Some very minor "cleaning up" has been done, but no attempt has been made to standardise the spellings, etc. (what is "correct"?).  I just might get round to preparing an Index, and perhaps a glossary, sometime.  Or feel free to do-it-yourself !

The original file will be deposited at the Somerset History Centre in Taunton, for all to see.  It's a black "spring-back" folder, with "Balovale Ordinance 1941" in white on the spine.

The entire Folder on computer, including original hi-res scans, will fit on a DVD, so if you would like a copy, just ask.
