Welcome to the Royal Burgh of Wick Community Council Website

Here you will find information on Wick Community Council, its members, what we do and how we do it.  You will be able to search for previous minutes of meetings, view forthcoming agendas and read about what Wick Community Council and its sub-groups are doing to help you and your community.

Wick Community Council and its sub-groups are responsible for many initiatives around the town including -

Hanging baskets and flower displays
Hogmany Street Party
Christmas Lights
Maintaining the footpaths along the Riverside
Cleaning and restoring the Telford Lade
Installation of the viewing platform at the Riverside
Fighting for the maintenence of the town's play areas
Raising money for the forthcoming town entrances
Fighting for the clean up of derelict buildings
Campaigning against dangerous drivers in the town centre

We are here to listen to your concerns.  We will help to bridge the gap between you and Highland Council Officials and Elected Representatives. We liase with Northern Constabulary, Caithness Partnership, voluntary organisations, MP's, MSP's and many other bodies to help make Wick a safe and pleasant place to live.
