A meeting was held tonight in Wick High School to take forward the public's ideas for what should be included in the new school.  After brief presentations from the Wick High School Rector, Senior Project Manager, Highland Council Architect and the Education Advisor the groups put their heads together and came up with some ideas. 

Everything from science labs to squash courts were suggested, a covered all weather pitch, theatre, poly tunnel and wifi suite amongst others. 

Everyone was agreed that public access and the safety of the children is paramount and the new school should be sustainable, easy to maintain and be around for a long time to come! 

Volunteers for a community liason group  came forward and Wick Community Council secretary Gail Ross will be part of this group.
