Those of you who have seen this week's local papers will know that the whole area at Millfield appears to be under threat of disposal. 

As suspected by your committee, the proposed closure of the library hid a further agenda and this has proved to be the case.  We are going to have to work very hard to stop this outright vandalism in our area.  We need the Millfield House, Weir Hall Library, St. David's Park and the Theatre.  It forms a necessary oasis in our built up area.  Why should we loose everything in our area and all resouces be centred on Enfield Town.  Perhaps it is because that is the Leader of the Council's ward?
