James F. Bell 

(Age 82)

Died peacefully at Ingleside of Rock Creek (retirement community) in Washington, DC on Saturday, February 5, 2005.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 5, 1922 to the late George Bryan Bell and Sarah Barr Perry Bell.

Jim moved to Washington in 1948.

Devoted husband of Jill Arden Bell; father of Bradley Cushing Bell, Sara Perry and Ashley Arden Bell; grandfather of Christopher Perry Haskins and brother of Bryan Bell. Also beloved by many more family members, friends and caregivers.

Jim's Memorial Service will be on Saturday, February 19 at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 1830 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made in Jim's name to St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church and to Community Hospice of Washington.
