Fundraiser Required for The St. Christopher Young People’s Trust

Local Government Scale Point 10 (£7.19 per hour)
10 hours per week, fixed term contract for 1 year to be reviewed annually, 39 worked weeks (45 paid weeks).

The St. Christopher Young People’s Trust was established on 1st November 2007.  The Trust is a champion for young people with learning disabilities, specialising in Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger's Syndrome, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and associated communication and interaction difficulties, seeking to improve the quality of life for such children, young adults and their families.

The Trust supports The St. Christopher School and Christopher’s Cottage in all their activities.

Do you have a flair for raising money? Are you passionate about helping young people with learning disabilities? 

We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic, creative person to identify appropriate sources of funding, prepare fundraising documents, complete grant applications, promote the work of the Trust at a local and national level and arrange and publicise new, imaginative and effective fundraising activities.

The person appointed will need to be able to work a flexible working pattern (hours of work to be negotiated.)

The Trust is committed to ensuring the welfare and safeguarding of all young people we work with.  All staff will be subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
