On Saturday10th October The St. Christopher Young People’s Trust held a concert at Crowstone Christian Centre in the presence of our patron, The Lord Petre JP, Lord Lieutenant of Essex and the Worshipful the Mayor of Southend on Sea.  The Trust supports young people with ADHD, Aspergers Syndrome and Austisic Spectrum Disorder within the local community.  Lord Petre explained the work of the Trust and introduced our artistes.

Harmonie, a 40 strong symphonic wind band, played music from around the British Isles and Trillogy, three attractive young ladies, sang songs complementing the travel theme.   The band were enthusiastic and very entertaining and Trillogy delightful.  There was also an interlude when children from The St. Christopher School sang with their teacher, which was much appreciated.  The concert ended with Harmonie and Trillogy’s rendering of Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
