The final run of the Winter series saw Phil Dewar complete a clean sweep of all five events and collect the overall title in convincing fashion. In the ladies competition Wilma MacRuary and Janette Tasker tied for the top spot. The series itself proved a big hit with a regular turn out of runners, many of whom successful competed in every single event.
