Paul Davidson has come up with this suggestion:
Camas Malag Beach to Suishnish/Borreraig

6 mile return to Suishnish

11 mile circuit
Camas Malag-Suishnish-Borreraig-Kilchrist-Camas Malag.

My favourite regular run. To get to the start follow the Elgol road from Broadford. At the Kilbride fork take the left hand fork and pass through Kilbride until the end of the road at Camas Malag beach. You will see the track to Suishnish rising from the end of the shingle beach on your left.

This mainly sound farm track can be run in trainers although parts can get boggy after heavy rain.

For Suishnish you simply follow the track until the cleared village of Suishnish, there is one gate (go through) and continue to the fank at the end of the track and it is here that I usually turn for home.

If want to carry on to Borreraig then it is best to take the very rough sheep path up the hill to the left of the gate (dont go down to the fank). You simply follow the pretty clear (but rough) path across the peat until you meet the cliff path into Borreraig. This is generally run-able except the steep descent which is a careful walk. You follow the path along the bottom of the cliffs slowly rising up into Borreraig. Looking ahead across the bowl shaped cleared settlement you can see the path leading onwards towards the Skye Marble Quarry (old) and Kilchrist. It's a tough uphill run out of Borreraig! The path here is again of good quality and easily followed. Once past the quarry you carry on down through 2 gates before turning down onto the Broadford-Elgol road on your left. It's an easy 2.5mile run along this road back to Camas Malag beach.

I regularly run Suishnish and back, it is hilly but very rewarding, the views are stunning. On clear days I'll carry on and do the Borreraig loop. If you have never been to Borreraig it is a magical, peaceful place.

 Portree-Scorrybreac.
Loads of options round here but my favourite is:
Distance ?5 miles, trail/fell shoes, 90%runnable,?1000ft ascent.
Park at carpark at bottom of Cuillin Hills Hotel driveway.
Run along path past slipway and through gate. Keep going on good, obvious path for about 3/4 mile till you get to a gate. Go through the gate into field( occasionally cows/sheep here. Follow faint path round perimeter of field, climbing up to a stile. Cross stile and follow path to next stile. Here, go straight across next field, going gradually uphill along sheep track till you get to a big boulder. Cross burn here and climb steeply up a gully to Sron a Bhainne, hands on knees, for a few hundred feet till the second stile. Cross here and continue climbing bearing right to next fence. Keep going over/under this till you get to top of first grassy rise. Takes about 25 minutes to here. Fantastic views here across to Raasay, mainland, Cuillin, Storr etc. From here there are loads of options. My normal one is to bear left here crossing boggy moor for 300 metres to next grassy hump. Keep going along faint track for 100 metres then descend steeply through heather, straight down to fields. Pick up obvious path here around field heading gradually downhill  along grassy ridge running parallel to field you initially crossed. Track comes out at landrover path and gate marked PATH. Go through gate following it down to farm buildings on left. Just before buildings cross wall on left, over burn briefly through field and onto obvious path. Go through gate heading on good path towards zigzags. Just before top of zigzags take very faint path on right and follow muddy path to top of Ben Crachaig. Follow track along cliff top, descending down towards Portree Harbour. Ignore path branching off to left (takes  you back down to viewpoint) but branch off to right on faint path, keeping Portree on your left. Going gets quite tough here, very boggy and rough underfoot for half a mile. Come out back at farm building and rejoin main path heading left back down to carpark after another half mile or so to bring you back to the start.

Bernisdale Circuit -?6 miles Trail shoes.

Park at bus stop at Aird Bernisdale turn off. Run back up road for 100 metres and turn right, through gate onto track. Run uphill for about 20 minutes, can be muddy, till path levels off. Branch left over trackless moor heading for Bein Roishader at 600ft, last bit is pretty steep. When at top bear right over a few tops till you can see Loch Niarsco. Drop down here, picking up good path leading back down hill to Glenbernisdale. Follow road down past houses turning left at main road. After 300 metres or so take right onto Mains Bernisdale and folow single track road back to car-about 1.5 miles.

Portree-Aros Forest.
Good hill rep session for a wet, windy day-yes we do get them occasionally.
Park behind Aros centre. Run along Alphabet trail for 100 metres then start climbing steeply on good forest tracks, branching right at first junction. When path levels off, bear left at end descending steeply back into forest. Bear right at every junction till you get to bottom. Turn round and repeat in reverse ad nauseum. Each circuit takes about 12 mins.

Plockton via Duncraig to Loch Lundie to Plockton - 5 miles? just under probably.  Go along Plockton to Duncraig path for about 1 mile taking care on some rough stoney bits and a big dod ( 6 inches) of old metal fence sticking up at the gate before the railway bridge.  Turn right at end of undulating path onto the usually quiet road and go straight on at junction or else turn right back to Plockton if short of time and you just want a hilly 3 miles. Go up the road to Loch Lundie and then down hill to near Durinish Bridge turn right at the junction and along the straight road then down Big Strathie up the hill back to Plockton, circuit complete with some fine views. Use verge on left hand side if you want softer going rather than stamping down the road. Road shoes or else trail shoes with good cushioning-3/4 on roads but possibilities of running on some wider verges-take care with drains!!!  If wet and you want to keep shoes good, go up the roads miss out muddly-puddly path and head out of Plockton on the road- up Wee Strathie first left, onto Loch Lundie first right then Durinish Bridge turn right down big Strathie and home. Enjoy.
