The SBU course consists of 60 lessons. The course can be completed in two or three years, and each lesson comes with examples, a handout, hands to play and a quiz. For information on classes available locally see your District page or, contact your District Education Officer or complete a contact form stating where you live and that you would like to learn to play.
The Lessons are now available as Power-Point presentations and anyone interested in teaching should read Information for Tutors.
Perth Bridge Club have developed a 20 lesson course, which has teaching and student notes, powerpoint presentations, quizzez and flash cards. This is available from Perth Bridge Club
Other Useful Information
Apart from attending lessons, there are many good ways to improve your bridge. Getting plenty of play practice is a good start. Play in Play and Learn Sessions and perhaps consider attending Bronze Congresses when you are near the end of the course. Look at your District Website for information and Play on bridge websites eg Bridge Base Online and Bridge Doctor
If you have used a bridge book, website or DVD, which has helped, please write a review on the Education Facebook Page or pass it on to your tutor who will forward it. Some book shops have a very limited selection of bridge books, but there are specialist suppliers on line.
