Yer Car Posted by Rally Ali on 26 November 2008 thanks for your visit to the site. need to update with some more pics. not fitting a dog box yet. its a 5 speed subaru box with the dccd unit. i'm not aggressive enough to use a dog box properly! plan to get another season with this car then see what's available after that, so not planning any further big expense on it meantime. hope my RBS shares will be worth more than a roll of andrex by that time! am sure Tim would love to get a car set up for you on the Wilson! I'll have a word! kind regards Don Posted by Don Murray on 27 November 2008 Link Hi I have added your website to my website - www.highland-sport.co.uk Can you add me to your Links page Thank You Peter Gow Posted by Peter Gow on 25 March 2008 thanks for the mention on your site. happy to make the link on mine. Don Posted by Don Murray, NessRallySport on 28 March 2008 Navigators Hello Don, Glad to see an update to prove you're still with us - was starting to think you'd disappeared off the face off the earth! Sorry to hear about the poor end to the season, hopefully you'll have used up your share of bad luck by the time the 2008 season comes around... Speaking of which, if you're still navigatorless next year and need a stop-gap nav for an event or two, give me a toot. Due to work I'll never be able to commit to a full season but if you give me enough notice I may be able to help out here or there. Only done two Inglistons since I sat beside you last but keen to get back into it for sure! Cheers sir, hope all's well with you! Roy K. Posted by Roy Kemp on 02 October 2007 Granite City Rally Congrats on your finish at yesterdays Rally. I have emailed you a photo. Bit of spare time so cruised into your site.
Are you fitting a 5 speed dog box ? Modena ?
I also see you intend to fit an electronic c/dif which I would strongly advise against and they become the "weakest link" in the drive train and invariably slip. The only real advantage to an adjustable c/dif is that you can knock off the "drag" on long fast straight but this only really applies in really hot conditions and usually on tarmac. A fully locked plated c/dif is the answer, stronger and considerably quicker.
Good Luck for 2009 - has Tim got a car for me for the Malcolm Wilson ?
