A WONDERFUL WEEK
After a long Canadian winter, a holiday spent in the warm, sunny and beautiful Andalucia area was just what we needed! We enjoyed everything about Casa Santa Maria in Montejaque. A very pleasant, well equipped house with amazing views. We enjoyed the many walks in the area and exploring many of the white villages. We thoroughly recommend a stay at this lovely village house.

A really lovely house - spacious and with lots of character. We reckon the sun terrace probably has the best views in the village! The locals were also very friendly. We highly recommend Casa Maria!

Spring Holiday, March 2009
We had been in this portion of AndalucĂa in years past and wanted to find a spot where we could experience the life and pace of a typical white village. And we found it here up on the edge of the Montejaque. In this lovely house we enjoyed the sun on the roof terrace, cooked and enjoyed the local foods and relaxed in the ambiance of the region. It is a great locality relative to getting out and touring the country around it and yet provides a quiet refuge to retreat to after the touring has been completed. The owners, Ian and Trish, were wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. The house is open well furnished, and spotless (well maybe less so after these two Americans stayed there a week!) the kitchen is brand new; we were the first to use it. And the view from the roof terrace divine. I highly recommend this house for a peaceful yet accessible getaway locality.

The village (Montejaque) is a classic of its kind, one of the famous hilltop settlements of Andalusia, 20 minutes’ drive from Ronda, in the heart of the Parc Natural de Grazalema. Use it as a base for walking (there are lots of paths leading away from Montejaque itself), for more vigorous activities, such as canyoning, climbing and mountain-biking, or simply as a place to sit in a heap and slowly recharge your batteries

WOW! Thank you so much!
WOW! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us. It is in a
beautiful, traditional village in the old part right at the back with only the mountains behind - loved it. We had a great time exploring the region, mostly on foot, with a new adventure everyday. There was loads to do to keep us busy for our 2 week stay. Eating on the roof terrace was great, the veiws from the lounge stunning and we even had a herd of Ibex come down just behind the house one evening. Fantastic. Thank you so, so much.
