KS has a management committee of three elected officers (Chair, Treasurer and Secretary) and four or more committee members. The committee have regular meetings, which members of the public are welcome to attend. KS has a constitution, an Annual General Meeting, and audited accounts. Having a committee means we can apply for grants to fund our activities, as well manage them.

Our Chair is Dr Heather Strachan. Heather is a nurse by background. She has worked in theNHS, Academia, and Government, and is now mostly retired, although she does some lecturing at Edinburgh University. Heather has lived in Kilbarchan for 12 years. She has two grown up kids, and two dogs Hamish and Sukie. Heather loves the outdoors.
