On 2 April 2014 a group of five volunteers spent their day providing cover for our collecting table in the Tesco store in Thurso. We are delighted to say that we raised £184.45. This amount of money will make a big difference to our ability to provide for all the dogs we are caring for at the moment. We thank all the kind people who donated on the day as well as all those who donate at other times and in other ways.
We also collected several donations of much needed bags of dog food which the dogs will be very pleased about.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting with 9 year old Rosie Munro. Rosie recently celebrated her birthday and she was very kind in asking for donations of dog food and money instead of gifts. This enabled her to donate lots of food for the dogs as well as paying £30 in to our vets D.S. MacGregor which has been taken off our bill. Thank You Rosie for your very kind donation and for being such a lovely girl to think of it in the first place.
