However, before you take this any further please consider your actions carefully.  The dog you adopt has already had a disrupted and in many cases a miserable life. It will be insecure and anxious; it may not have been trained or socialised with people or other dogs.  The dog you adopt may be wonderful and never cause you a moments difficulty but it may exhibit very difficult and disruptive behaviour.  If you take on a rescue dog from KWK9 Rescue you should expect to work with the dog to overcome any problems.

We will offer you assistance if you ask for it and will not judge you in any negative way for asking for help, in fact we will be impressed.

However, do not take on this dog if you are not prepared to give it a home for life. If you take on the dog and return it some time later you will be compounding the dogs problems and it's misery.  Your action may result in a dog so damaged that it becomes so unstable that we will be unable to re-home it.  If you can only commit to short term care of a dog, or your personal circumstances may change then why not consider fostering a dog for us.  We are always desperate for foster homes but we don't need any more dogs returned from what were promised to be permanent homes.
