Look what the Mayor of Garstang, Councillor Leah Hynes, had to say about us.
"I first attended Garstang Ladies Speakers Club earlier this year, as I felt I would like to be more confident when speaking in public and to enjoy it rather than feeling nervous. I was absolutely overwhelmed with how welcoming this wonderful group of ladies were and how enjoyable the evening was, the topics that the speakers talked about were not only interesting, some very funny, that gave us all a giggle! I left feeling very inspired by this team of very special ladies and I would urge any ladies that would like to improve their skill and confidence when speaking in public, have an enjoyable evening and make new friendships to join this hidden gem of a group in Garstang.

Garstang Speakers Club has the answer.
Our membership is made up of those with diverse backgrounds who help each other by providing feedback and guidance in a friendly and supportive environment.
Visitors are always welcome. Come along and see what we do, there will be no pressure to speak.
The club meets each first Tuesday of the month throughout the year (see our programme page) starting at 7.15pm, in the comfortable environment of the Garstang Country Hotel and Golf Club, Bowgreave Drive, Garstang PR3 1YE http://www.garstanghotelandgolf.com
Our meetings vary each week to include prepared speeches as well as impromtu speaking. Speeches range from the thought provoking to the hilarious. No matter what the event there is always a fun element enjoyed by all.
