A training day learning what to look for when hunting the elusive Forester Moth caterpillar. These caterpillars are leaf miners and have not been recorded in the wild in Scotland- yet. We spent many hours on our hands and knees in fields looking for them. Fingers crossed one of the mines we found proves to be a Forester Moth.
