Jeremy Peter Foster Clay was born on 26 July 1932 in London, the only child of Gerard Leigh ("Peter") Clay and Drusilla Madeline nee Foster. He was educated at Eton and the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester.  He is Lord of the Manor of Brockhampton Fawley Court, Hereford.  He was married on 3 October 1956 in Winchester Cathedral to Ann Julie Fuller;  they had a son,

Jeremy was married again on 29 November 1962 in Ross-on-Wye to Mary Elizabeth Anne Pryce‑Jenkin.  They had a daughter :-

 (Ann) Lucilla      born on 6 May 1964 in Stroud, and married George Stephenson. 

in 1991 Jeremy lived at Fawley Court, Fawley, Hereford, Herefordshire, HR1 4SP.  He grew flower bulbs.

Jremy was a Director of the Fawley Chapel Trust Fund (1991), of Doverport Trustees (2002), and of Clay Farming LLP (2016).  He and his wife also owned the Kildonan Estate in Sutherland.

Jeremy died on 19th February, 2017.

Ann Julie was born on 14 February 1933 in Winchester, daughter of Charles Basil Sabine Fuller of Winchester

Mary Elizabeth Anne Pryce‑Jenkin,

Mary Elizabeth Anne was born on 12 November 1939 in Raglan(?), East Radnor, the only child of Francis Joseph Pryce‑Jenkin of Clanna, Sutherland and of Hoarwithy, Hereford, and Doreen L. nee Davey, who were married in Hereford before 1936.
