In Q2, 1981 in Ewecross he married Sarah F Hatje; they had a son

William Anthony Hastings, born in Keightley in 1982,

and a daughter

was born in Q1, 1956 in Buckrose, Yorkshire, the daughter of Walter H Hatje and Kathleen nee Robinson, who were married in Q1 1954 in Buckrose, Yorkshire.
