1233312 John Owen 1884-1959

(John) Owen Clay, was born on 16 April 1884 in Child's Hill, London, the second son of John Harden Clay and Alice Spencer née Bagnold. 

In March 1914 he emigrated to Canada, and was married on 26 July 1921 in Vancouver, Canada to Selina (Margaret) Martin.  They had a son and two daughters :-

John (Alexander)                             was born on 24 August 1922.

Isabel                                                was born on 6 October 1924 in Slocan B.C. Canada.  She was married on 5 June 1948 in Victoria B.C. to Peter Hobson, who was born on ??? 1924.  They had a son Daniel

Katherine                                          was born on 2 April 1927 in Nelson B.C.  She was married on 28 July 1942? in Victoria B.C. to Todd Hutton, who was born on 2 September 1921 in Claresholm, Alberta.  They had issue.

Owen died on 24 February 1959 in Victoria B.C. at the age of 74.

Selina née Martin

Selina (Margaret) Martin was born on 19 September 1891 in Loughborough, died in 1980 in Victoria, B.C. at the age of 88.
