Flying the Flag at Langdale

Carolin Kupper is certainly a dedicated Working Beardie fan. Although she is a busy schoolteacher in Germany, she was determined not to miss the WBCS annual gathering at Langdale on September 14th/15th, even though it meant flying over on  Friday and back home on Sunday, ready for school on Monday morning!

Although she couldn't bring her own Brambledales, Cuddles and Cap,  this time, Carolin was delighted to find so many other members of the family at Langdale and managed to line up ten Brambledales and their owners, for the lovely photo at the top of the page.

From left they are: Hugh Emerson with Bess, Carolin Kupper, Malcolm and Eileen Coupe with Nell and Honey, Anne Fowler with Buzz, Lorraine Storer with Talley and Bessie Brown, Barry Bray with Breeze, Charlie Morley with Drift and Beryl, and Cas Sloan with Tiger.

Carolin writes:
"Only a short message, because I am now at home from Langdale and I am very tired. We had  wonderful weather on Saturday. Lovely people and lovely dogs.
Most of the dogs were Brambledales. So it was more a Brambledale meeting than a WBCS-meeting. It was great."

I wish I could have joined them - but my own  twelve Brambledales can't all fit into our Vito van .....and I can't leave anyone behind! Are there any Beardie-lovers out there with space to spare?
