Comments and suggestions most welcome......do let me know what else you would like to see on the site. Say No to Merles - Your response I am just horrified that people can be so short sighted that they cannot see the benefits of the working beardies and so sorry that they have made it so personal. I love my working beardie and have never owned a dog with such a strong work ethic, chrisma and generosity of nature. Posted by Mary Lamey on 29 January 2012 Thank you Mary - your support is much appreciated.Perhaps it is time for all owners of wonderful Working Beardies to tell the Clubs what they think of them.... Best wishes to you and your Beardie, Lynne Posted by Lynne Sharpe on 29 January 2012 Beardies of Course Oh my goodness me, what a truly wonderful video. I lost my dear Beardie two months ago and I've been waiting for a rescue to come up but thankfully I guess they are few and far between. I sat here mesmerised by you and your Beardies, they are absolutely fantastic. The Caucus race was hilarious and I laughed and laughed, not something I've done much of since losing Billy. I want a Beardie bus though living in a terrace in Hove, it probably wouldn't work but hopefully I won't be Beardieless for much longer. Please give everyone of those gorgeous Beardies a big hug from me... Nix Posted by Nix on 22 January 2012 Dear Nix, I am so sorry to hear about your sad loss and can imagine what an aching hole Billy has left in your life, so it is really good to know that my happy family made you smile again ....and I do hope that it won't be too long before you have Beardie company again. With many thanks for your lovely letter, Lynne Posted by Lynne Sharpe on 22 January 2012 From France Hello from France ... I enjoyed to look at your website again; I wish you Happy New Year, all the best for you and your family ... a lot of happiness; Happy New Year; Marie; le clos de Marialan. Posted by Marie on 19 January 2012 Thank you, Marie, for your good wishes. I do hope that you will continue to visit the website! With all good wishes to you Lynne Posted by Lynne Sharpe on 22 January 2012 Hi Lynne what a fasinating insight into the beautiful intelligent breed of ours. Having owned and loved beardies since 1977 I too am becoming totally disillusioned with 'the show/dog world' as a whole. Why not let a beardie be the natural working dog it was originally bred for without all the 'flash' that seems to be in the breed know and the coat appearance taking precedence over much of the conformation and well being of the animal. Another of my gripes is ask, look and learn about the background to the breed don't become a 'fast track know it all' to get judging appointments and to become an instant expert on beardies. I still feel i am learning even after 35 years. Kind Regards Pam Posted by Pam on 01 January 2012 Thank you Pam - more and more people seem to share your view and are becoming disenchanted with the show world. It is so good to know that the Beardie is increasingly appreciated as the tough, intelligent companion it loves to be! Yours Lynne Posted by Lynne Sharpe on 01 January 2012 View All Posts, Ever!
