Hanner's babies are busy settling into their new homes.........
Brambledale Bill Brown (Finn)is the fifth Brambledale to join the Hassell family in Devon and he is an especially lucky lad as he has two great-great-great uncles to amuse him. Here he is (above) with 13year old Griff ( Brambledale Barley) and (below) with dear old Brig ( B. Brigand), in splendid shape at 15 years old. Vicky writes;
"All continues to go really well with Finn amazing us with his ingenuity and ability to learn."
B. Black Belle (Nell) and B. Brown Honey (Honey) are also sure of plenty of fun with Eileen and Malcolm Coupe of Dumfries....Eileen writes;
"Nell and Honey are coming along just fine are full of fun and up to all sort of tricks, they're keeping us both on our toes.Attached photo of tug game they love. They have already sussed the wooden puzzle, they both can lift the bone shaped covers off to get the treat. They are so clever."
Another elderly gentleman whose peaceful life in Somerset has been suddenly disturbed is Trish Parson's beautiful lurcher, Archie (above) who is struggling to keep up with B. Bizzie Lizzie, who is certainly living up to her name!
Barbara Hall (above) gets a few words of advice from Blossom before taking her new boy, Bertie ( B Black Tom) home to Cornwall, where he is doing his best to fill the gap left by his great-great-great Uncle Charlie ( Brambledale Boister), who was Barbara's companion for many years. Barbara writes;
"Bertie has been having a wonderful time ....... Tuesday we went to the nursing home where he went on a lift, met all all the old ladiesand staff and I thought at one stage we would never be allowed to leave with him ! Today we have been in the garden and Bertie has imagined he has helped us a lot, he is now flat out with us in the sitting room zzzzzzzz!!!!!!"
Closer to home is B. Ben Brown, (Brodie), who has joined Chris and Carole Gledhill near Brecon. Carole writes "We are just delighted with him and he has quite a fan club amongst the neighbours."
Brambledale Belle Brown (Dilly, above) is now a Norfolk girl and a member of the Canter family. Martin and Margaret previously owned Brambledale Brynglas (Jesse) for fifteen years, so young Dilly is another pup with a lot to live up to. Margaret writes;
"Dilly is settling in well and sleeping through the night. She loves to play and is becoming adept at fetch, come and sit. We think that she is going to be big, she is growing so fast."
