Christmas Night Out - 9th December 2010This year the Shinty Team will be heading to the Cafe la Padella, on Woodlands Road, to celebrate the approaching festivities. Meeting at the venue at 6 pm to begin a Meditteranean Themed meal.
For a price of £10.99 each you can enjoy a three course meal at the West End Cafe, which hosts BYOB nights (£1 corkage fee on beers and wine) - something the Shinty Team will surely enjoy! If you wish to attend please contact Rachel Macdonald and arrange to pay a £5 deposit. This will be followed by a trip to the ABC in the city centre. See you all there - dressed to impress!
Cops And Robbers Themed Night Out - Wednesday 17th November 2010Themed Night out THIS WEDNESDAY!! Get yourself prepared for a night of Madness as the Strathclyde Shinty Team dress up - Cops and Robbers Style. We'll meet in Bar Home before heading on a Pub Crawl, probably ending in Octo.
To keep it interesting, Male = Cops, Females = Robbers! See you there with your bags of swag, handcuffs and whistles for a night of fun! More details to follow at training! Local Club Ceilidh- 15th October 2010Several members of the Women's Team also play Shinty for local side, Tir Conaill Harps, who will be hosting their annual Ceilidh this Friday, the 15th October.
 Tickets are only £6 each. The Ceilidh will begin at 7.30 pm and finish at 12 midnight on 15th October. It is being held at Hillhead Jordanhill Rugby Club, Hughenden. More info available at www.tirconail.org

Post Training Session- 5th October 2010
After training, meet in bar HOME from 19:30, where some free food and cheap drinks will start the night out, before we head on to Kushion, where the team are guestlisted!
First Night out of the Season 2010-2011 The first of many legendary Shinty Nights Out will commence on Tueday 28th Sept at 7.30 pm. We'll be meeting in HOME in the Merchant City, 80 Albion Street, where there'll be a free food and cheap drinks. Come along and get to know your team mates, enjoy the food and chat! Remember, there'll be rewards and punishments following the performances at training - see you all there for fun times!
Christmas Night Out - 15th December 2009The Team will be heading to Millenium Platter on Dambarton Roaad, on Tuesday 15th December to celebrate the end of a successfull 2009. All you can eat and drink for £17.50! Meeting outside the Union at 5.20 pm, hope to see you there!!
Team Nights OutThe team will meet every other Tuesday in Home, on Albion Street, at 8 pm for some food and drinks. November Dates 10th November 24th November

First Social and Freshers 'Meet and Greet' The first shinty club get together of the year will be held on Tueday 29th Sept at 7.30 pm. We'll be meeting in HOME in the Merchant City, 80 Albion Street, where there'll be a small buffet. This is the perfect opportunity for Freshers to ask any questions they have, get to know players on the team and generally have a good time! Bring along your friends, the more the merrier!
