Bullheads

Ok so bullheads what are they well they are really the next step from the subbug , imaging a predator lying on the bottom in amongst the weed looking up what is it going to see a very thin profile of a fly with most materials this is what we get a thin profile so we need to somehow bulk up the profile without adding weight to the fly these flies give you a wide profile at the head section which stays wide tailing of to the tail and with using the bug eyes you still get that great action that the sub bug has .

im not saying that thin profiles wont catch fish of course they do but its always nice to have something different in the armoury if you fancy tying this there is a step by step in the side menu , most of these flies are tied using e.p fibre but you can try it with pretty much any material the best I have found so far is synthetic fibres like ep or slinky fibers , remember these flies are big and are desighned to shift water a 10 wgt rod is recomended for the big ones off 8 inchs plus which most of these are
