Some friends of mine (Barry and Di Hitchcock) have just set up an eco-holiday site on the lower slopes of Leith Hill.

Its called 'The Green Escape' www.thegreenescape.co.uk and can be found near Forest Green and Leith Hill Place. It comprises of 6 shepherd huts scattered around a 6 acre woodland area with a central shower/toilet facility and communal  crafts and socialising area.

It looks fantastic and I can't wait to try it out myself. They offer accomodation in a very quiet secluded spot with a range of activites and craft workshops to enjoy. Its also only a 15 minute walk to a local pub and has access to all the best Mountain Biking (as well as walking etc) in the area.
