... and a friend comes up, exclaims delightedly about it being Herdwick, and comments "That's going to be very hardwearing!"  She's right, but we are still both puzzled and impressed at how something so delicate and fine to handle can produce a fabric so crisp and beautiful.  Every natural colour is our favourite!  Every hand-dyed colour is the best!!
