The BRIDGE project
The BRIDGE project was a collaboration between partners in six countries with the aim of finding ways to help older people through the use of information and communications technology.
The two-year project was funded by the European Union, with the partners coming from Austria, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden and the UK. The UK partner was Going Nova.
The project demonstrated that information technology could help the quality of life of people of all ages, as Mrs Kathleen Firth demonstrated on her 102nd birthday.
