John Blumberg Golf Course,Headingley, MB

The John Blumberg Golf Course in Headingley MB on the outskirts of Winnipeg has a 27 hole golf course and for $36 I played 18 holes and had a big bag of balls to warm up on the driving range.  

Its definately not the hardest of courses but that doesn't matter, you still have to put that small ball in that big hole!! 

I did think that it would be the ideal course for a party to go play on as you wouldn't be faffing about looking for balls and have plenty of time for drink and enjoying yourself. 

The course is very flat with some dog leg holes, but you can easily play over the dogleg with no real risk of going into any danger if you don't make it.  The first 9 holes I was one over the 2nd 9 had some interesting holes the 14,15 and 16 are lovely holes with the 14th beeing a tricky par 5 with water all up the right side and trees up the left. 15 a drivable par 4 if you go over the trees and the 16 a difficult 230yrd par 3.  After 18 holes I was level par thoroughly enjoyed my game and will play there again if I have the opportunity.
