The fly in golf club at Steinbach you could say is my new local course.   I was planning to join but at a cost of $1800 for the first year I didnt plan for long  and opted to pay $37 per round for a game at the weekend.   

 

First impressions of the course are good but the employees in the pro shop were polite, they couldn't answer some of my questibut anyway the course is nice, some lovely holes, in most conditions the par 5s are reachable in 2 testy par 3s and the par 4s a mix of rewardable for taking a risky line and no choice but to play a low ish iron of the tee. 

 

I have played there 3 times now and the course gets better each time.  Playing with 2 of the members one sunday I was told if I remember correctly that the ladies Canadian amateur matchplay championship was played there a couple of years ago. 

Its a fabulous course and I would say a must play if you are in the area.  To top it off the clubhouse food is exellent and worth going to even if you don't want a game of golf.
