Since COVID hit us, many people have taken up crafting to fill their time & bring them joy, this is AMAZING! I wholeheartedly support anyones interests in being creative. However, due to people falling in love with their new hobbies & needing an outlet for it, there has been a rise in applications for craft Fayres & markets everywhere, including By The Woods. While I would love to offer everyone a stall at our Fayres, we have limited spaces & we've been filling up incredibly fast the past couple of years!

If you weren't successful in booking a spot with us this time round, I'm very sorry, don't be disheartened & please consider booking with us at future events!

General Set Up & Pack Down 

The timings for the fayre are 10 am to 4 pm. You will be able to arrive to set up at 9 am.  There are sometimes parking spaces available on the high street, some outside the Town Hall and there is a small car park to the back of the Town Hall, accessible but the side street to the left of the hall. These spaces are a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved.

The Fayre finishes at 4pm and we ask you wait until this time before you begin packing down. It's nice for our customers to get the most out of the browsing times we provide, so pack down post 4pm is necessary and we have until 5pm to vacate the Town Hall. 
 

Bins are provided at the venue, so if you have any rubbish, please pop it in, so we can leave our lovely Town Hall as clean and tidy as possible. Thank you!

Parking & Set Up/Pack Down for Victorian Day Craft Fayre!

The timings for the fayre will be our usual of 10 am to 4 pm.  You will be able to arrive to set up at 9 am as usual BUT will not be able to leave your car on Broad Street afterwards (ie the Town Hall end of the main street) after 10 am as street vendors will be arriving to set up there own stalls ready for their 11 am start. You will need to move to the High Street (towards the Moda Hotel) or to The Wickwar Road car park. 

When we finish at 4 you will be need to walk your remaining stock and gear back to your car as the Broad Street will not be accessible.  There may be room in the car park to the rear of the Hall for cars to pull up and load and then leave as soon as possible to allow others to do the same.
