Originally from Yorkshire, Richard and Liz spent many happy holidays on the Isle of Mull before relocating to Harbour Guest House in 2014.

"Sharing a passion for walking and wildlife, our love affair with the Scottish Islands began on our honeymoon in Shetland. We first visited the Isle of Mull in 2001 when a friend suggested it was one of the best places to see otters and eagles . . . they were correct! Since our first visit we found ourselves drawn back several times a year.

The scenery and walking is terrific and the wildlife is fantastic. Some of our most treasured memories include our first otter seen near Dervaig, the sea eagle that circled overhead as we had a picnic lunch, a pod of bottle-nose dolphins that appeared ‘out of nowhere’ as we walked at Loch Buie, the amazing view as you round the corner and Loch Ba opens up in front of you, the otter fishing in Tobermory harbour amongst the boats.

It became our dream to relocate to the Isle of Mull. We chose Tobermory because it offers so much - several excellent restaurants, the theatre, arts centre, galleries, distillery and golf course and we chose Harbour Guest House because of its fantastic location and friendly homely feel.

We are passionate about this beautiful Hebridean Island, its culture, wildlife and scenery and love sharing local knowledge with our guests.

We look forward to welcoming you to Harbour Guest House”.
