The Wild North Seminar - Scotland

The Wild North held a seminar in Scotland from the 30th of April to the 2nd of May, the focus of which was:

The use of social media to promote business´s and organisations (the use of facebook, twitter, four square). A Presentation given by Reene Looper, founder of Tuminds.com social media consultants.

How to advance the organisation forward? Looking at role models. A presentation by Wild Scotland on the start up and running of their organisiation and how it relates to The Wild North.

The Seminar was held at Newbold House, Dorres, Scotland and was attended by all cluster leaders, aswell as Elding Whale Watching and Debora Benham, project advisor and owner of Wild at Heart Eco-Holidays.

The final day of the seminar was dedicated to the collaberation of all data genertaed by The Wild North over the last 3 years of research and study and the production of The Wild North Code of Conduct which will appear on the web-site shortly.

The out come of this meeting also shifted the Project Managment back to The Icelandic Seal Center, the appointment of Debora Benham as Chairman and the creation of a new cluster, the Reykjavík Cluster, with the cluster leader being Ranveig Grétarsdottír from Elding Whale Watching
