Húsavík, Northeast Iceland

TheHúsavík cluster consists of a research centre (Húsavík Research Centre), a visitor centre (Húsavík Whale Museum) and two whale watching companies (Northsailing and Gentle Giants)  situated in Húsavík, which is by many called the Whale Watching Capital of Europe. The cluster's main objective is to contribute to the sustainable development of whale watching in Skjálfandi Bay. You can read more about each partners involvement below.
