*Running Badger
I was sitting at the end of a badger run, hoping one would show, when this one came straight at me. It almost ended up on my lap! I don`t know which one of us was the most surprised.
This photo was shortlisted in the British Wildlife Photographer Awards. I was over the moon when they published it in their book.

*Young Badger
This was one of several youngsters leaving the sett to explore their surroundings.

This cub had left the sett and was exploring its surroundings.

Sniffing The Air
A young cub which had just become aware of my presence. I kept perfectly still and it soon carried on foraging as if I wasn`t there.

An adult badger looking after three cubs.

Close Encounter
I was sitting on the ground photographing this cub. It wandered right up to my feet. It was difficult to get the shot without my foot being in the frame!
