I recently found on Ancestry.com records of a number of WWI soldiers from Bavaria with the surname Walleter.  Yet more evidence there could be a link between Wallators in the UK and Germany.  At the moment I have no way of knowing how long the name Walleter has existed in Germany or if there is a link to the UK families.  If there is a link it is possible that emigration could have occurred in either direction.  Yet more research needed when I have the time!
