Wolleter Name in Chile - 1813 to-date

Interestingly, this version of the name is found in Spanish speaking Chile.  One of my contacts told me about their ancestor John Wolliter Arris who apparently travelled to Chile from London and married a Mariana Diaz de Meneses Echaie in 1813.  The marriage certificate reports his father as one Jose (John) Walleter (or Waleter, born London c. 1765) and mother Maria Arris.  By 1869 the name was being written as "Wolleter" and still exists as both a surname and middle name, for example as in the name Wolleter Rioseco.  A quick internet search using "Wolleter Chile" reveals quite a few people currently bearing the name.
