NEWS EXTRA 2016

A new beginning for the league with some interesting changes. I believe we will find it more enjoyable and am looking forward to the season. The Milburn Trophy will now be a Pairs competition with handicaps for at home and away; I am confident that Alan Milburn would think it a great idea. Ladies are allowed to play in mixed teams for the first time since the inception of the league, and I am sure the men will treat them with the greatest respect even whilst trying to beat them to single figures.              M.W.
