Getting there

The Yurt is situated on our croft which is accessed via an unpaved track (approx. 300m) then a walk across our croft (approx. 100m). There is no vehicle access directly to the Yurt. At the road the track is signposted ‘Ri-Aulaidh’. The address is; Ri-Aulaidh, Cuaig, Strathcarron, IV54 8XU.

If you arrive between 10-5.30 Tuesday to Saturday please come to our Croft Wools weaving workshop and we can direct you to the Yurt from there. The workshop is situated beside the road. It is a wooden building with a red roof and clearly signposted. If you arrive outside of shop hours please go down the track and through the gate and to the main house.

By car

From Applecross take the coast road for 10 miles. After passing the hamlet of Cuaig travel for a further 0.5 miles. The Croft Wools workshop is on your left and the track is 100m past the workshop also on the left.

From Shieldaig turn off the A896 one mile south of the village of Shieldaig and travel for 10 miles towards Applecross on the coast road. After passing the village of Fearnmore, travel for a further 2 miles. The track is on your right and the Croft Wools workshop is beyond the track on the right at the bottom of the hill.
