 Hot Bertie - My last able bodied ride Stable Name: Bertie/Bump Breeding/Sex: Thoroughbred Gelding Colour: Bright Bay Age: 8yo Height: 16.2 I have owned Bertie since he was a four year old, his sire is Bertollini (USA), He is such a sweet natured genuine horse & will do anything to please. Although loves to get up to mischief with the youngsters when turned out & always rolls in the muddiest part of the field he can find!! - This was the last time I rode as an able bodied rider - 2010 |
 Deacons Giorgi at Solihull 2013 Stable Name: George Breeding/Sex: Hanovarian Gelding Colour: Dark Bay Age: 18yo Height: 16.1 My Current Para Dressage Horse who is simply a legend, has now been officially retired & is enjoying well earned time in his field although he still enjoys being groomed & going for a walk on the lead rope... Although a very cheeky boy at home, he very much knows his job when we're out & about. He looks after me very well & behaves perfectly when we're working. He does have a softer side in the field for example following us around, undoing my laces. He also acts like an 8yo having the occasional buck when he's feeling great. |

 The Youngsters Both Girls have grown & changed since this photo was taken. Names:Zeena & Jasmine Breed:AppaloosaxCob & TrackhenerxCob Age:23months old Zeena is the older & calmer of the girls, as she has grown she has become a lot more spotty, being born with only three spots on her quarters & taking more after her sire than her dam. She is very inquisitive, thinking that everything you have is edible, also has a very cheeky habit of throwing her feed & water bucket over her stable door!! Jasmine was born just 3 weeks after Zeena & very much takes fter her dam. They've always been so close since they were born & are more like sisters really. Jaz, as we call her is now learning how to eat treats frome your hand rather than a bucket often catching your fingers unintentionally. Bertie is like a big brother to the girls & looks after but also keeps them in check when theyre all turned out. |
