Summer

Sonny's mum was called Summer, she worked most of her life at a trekking centre and Sonny was her only foal. She did him proud and gave him a good start to life. She was a 16.1hh coloured blue roan Irish Draught cross Thoroughbred. Summer had excellent health her whole life and was never lame even for a single day. She had a powerful jump and could hack all day long. Sadly she died of azaturia at age 18.

Jim

Sonny's dad was Jim, he sired many many other foals and Sonny has half brothers and sisters running about all over the place. Jim was a 15.1hh black Gypsy Cob. Jim is also a healthy guy and is still going strong.

So why is Sonny such a giant?

3rd birthday -16.1hh

4th birthday - 16.3hh

Why he is so big is a mystery.
