Young Sonny
Sonny was born in Caithness and was weaned at six months. During his time with his mother they were moved grazing often, he got used to being led on roads and seeing new things. He was bold and confident and marched onward, leaving his mother behind.
He spent the next few years gaining life experience and being very slowly broken in. He travelled miles on long reins and wore tack on and off so that when the time came that he had to wear it wasn't a surprise for him. He was a confident pleasant young gentleman.
His first sit on was uneventful, he was led around with a person on top quite happily.
When he was four years old he was put out on loan due to pregnancy where he lived on a farm and became familiar with cows and farm machinery.
He then had a short spell at Cogle Farm Training yard where his schooling came on very quickly.
