Dear parents/carers,
On the 25th May 2018 new Data Protection Legisation is coming into force (GDPR). This requires the Club to have secure ways of obtaining, handling, storing and using data which includes personal data on children in our club and the data of parents all which has been given in confidence by yourselves. We also have data stored on staff. To meet our committments under the GDPR regulations we have to obtain the explicit consent of all parents/ carers to hold personal information about them and their children and to use it only for the proposes of childcare.
All parents/carers have been sent a reply slip requesting consent for the club to hold your personal data which you have given us. Please return this reply slip to the club asap. If we do not receive this 25th May we cannot hold your information and therefore cannot provide child care.
