Dear Parents,
The Club has recently had an inspection visit by CSSIW.One important issue which has emerged is that the club must without except and at all times conform to its registration condition for the maximum number of children which can attend the club in any one session which is a maximum of 40 children. Under no circumstances must the club exceed this figure. Whilst always trying to keep to this figure we have on many occasions exceeded this number in order to accommodate parents/carers wishes. From now on the maximum number of 40 will strictly be applied. This means that the club will have to review the number of children attending in each session and limit the number to 40. I am aware that this will cause some parents/carers to be disappointed in not being able to access the childcare they require. The registration process for next school year will also be reviewed to enable us to comply with our registration number.In the meantime the Club will seek to increase its maximum number by applying for a variation in its registration details but this may take some time. In the meantime parents/carers who do not get the allocations they require could consider alternative providers/childminders in the area until we have the extra accommodation in place. I much regret any upset that this may cause but the matter is out of our hands and we must adhere to ourcurrent registered number of 40 by law.
