Welsh Government (PHW) Survey for Parents

CHILD CARE PROVIDERS TO SEND TO PARENTS

Public Health Wales Research into health issues affecting pre-school children

Dear parent,

Public Health Wales (PHW) is carrying out an important study into health issues that affect children under the age of 5. PHW very much want to hear about the opinions, experiences and attitudes of parents so that they can better support parents and improve the healthy development of children.

As a childcare provider, we/I have been selected to invite parents to take part in this important study and would really appreciate your support. If you are happy to help, you can do so by completing the following online survey: www.phwpreschoolsurvey.com It takes 10 minutes to complete and you can do so at a time that is convenient for you. The deadline for completing the survey is 21st March 2021.

Your opinion is very important to PHW, and 10 minutes of your time will help PHW to implement initiatives and programmes to improve the health of children in Wales.  Therefore, PHW really value your input into this research.

The survey is carried out by BMG, an independent research agency, commissioned by PHW.

The survey is completely confidential, and no information will be linked back to parents or childcare providers. BMG has a strict Data Protection Policy and abides by the MRS Code of Conduct and GDPR. More information on BMG’s Data Protection Policy and their research can be found on their website: www.bmgresearch.co.uk/privacy. If you would like more information about the study, this can also be found on the PHW website https://phw.nhs.wales/

If you would like to withdraw your answers from the research, you can do so at time prior to publication.

If you wish to confirm that BMG Research is a genuine social research agency, please contact the Market Research Society on 0800 975 9596.
